A Biriyani Tale

A Biriyani tale

Finding words to express your views is one of the difficult situations one could face in life. But possibly this is the happiest moment of the life when words can’t describe the emotions and feelings that one experiences.

Philosophically life is like the musical notes or like the symphony, or life is like a roller coaster ride but the child in you will always say that life is all about the foods (well at least for some of you). Food can be cuisines, deserts , meal, breakfast, brunch, lunch and many more names can be given but the stories that begin on a dinner table stays for a long time.

Mia met her college friends almost after 10 years of the graduation. Sitting around the round dinner table everyone was having a very formal and a decent conversation. Meanwhile some were busy texting, checking out mails and of course taking selfies. The waiter walked in and asked for the order. The hubbub around the table paused for a second and mia spoke up “biriyani for all”. That one word reminded them of the good old days : the days when all of them used to bunk classes for a movie, the unexpected strike days that used to bring the smile on the face, it reminded them of the hostel days where Sunday meal was the “biriyani”, the days that was all about just being happy and carefree.

The biriyani is the connection that unites the old college friends once again. We all have those connections which need to be refreshed and revived. Life is all about the connections that we share with the person sitting next to us. The smile of the kid reminds us of our childhood days. The empty classrooms reminds us of our school days. The Cutting CHAI and the canteens reminds us of our college days. These are the days when we meet few people who are going to stay with us forever. These are the people who remind us of our happy days. Never lose such few people from your life. The happiness is the outcome of the connections. The connections over the coffee, movies or the “Biriyanis” need to be rejuvenated.

The connections are like the thread that connects the soul with the body. Heart to heart conversation is the best to create the magic of connections. The digital social media will not help to build up a real connection. The real conversation that starts with showcasing the creativity and the inner self helps to develop a bond.

When connections are real, they simply cannot die. They can be buried, or ignored, or you could simply walk away from, but they can never be broken unlike the relationships built over the finite spaces.

The connections may be invisible but it is always buried in the hearts of those who genuinely care for others.

So break the ice,

Create the magic of connections

Over a coffee or the “Biriyani” !!!
