I am sorry, I can’t please everyone.
Is it necessary to please each and every person around us?
Is it?? Ask this question to yourself now …
We live in a society where we are so worried THINKING about
what our neighbours think about us?? What our relatives think about us? What
our parents think about us?? What our
teachers think about us?? What our classmates think about us?? But we forget to “think about us”!
“Oh my grades are less! Now how will I show my face to the world?”
“Oh my neighbour’s daughter is in IIT, how I will show my
face to my parents.”
“Oh I got only 2nd prize for dance competition,
how will I show my face to my teachers.”
·
And many more reasons to be sad and worried.
Thinking about what others will think about ME is the main cause of worry. We
worry a lot because we try to please others a lot. We worry a lot because our
top most priority is the society we live in. There is nothing wrong in living
with the terms and conditions of the society we live in but what is the use of
this obedience if our wings are locked throughout the life. The wings to fly
high and high. The wings to dream big. The wings which enlightens our mind and soul.
The wings which is not a part of the society we live in. The wings which
motivate us to do impossible. The wings which guide us through the difficult
path of the life. We all have those wings to fly but for some it is locked. And
they won’t dare to unlock it because of the imaginary worries that bother them.
They want to please everyone around but don’t want to care about their actual
dreams. When you keep the wings locked, how will you fly?? So stop pleasing
everyone around unless and until you yourself is happy Inside.
These days we come across so many ways to handle stress,
worries or problems in our life like coaching institutes for stress management,
personality development. Training classes for peace of mind, books to tackle
life problems with simple steps etc. But Take a moment of your life and just
pause whatever you were doing and then ask a simple question to yourself “what
is the reason for my worries?” And the answer will ultimately be because “we
worry about the people around us”.
The human life span study shows that the human beings are
mostly happy during their childhood days. Because as a child we need not have
to worry about our grades, breakups or patch up , electricity bill or phone
bill , attendance or grace marks , series or university exams etc etc…
As a grownup we have to be a responsible person and not a worrying person. Of course we must handle our exams, problems, marks, electricity bill
etc, but we must never worry about it.
But what we do is to worry about certain stuffs in a way or the other rather
than handling it in a more sensible way.
So stop worrying
Stop pleasing everyone around
Let the wings be unlocked
And follow your dreams.
Dreams will lead to destiny.
And destiny will certainly fill your heart and soul with the
eternal peace.
